Welcome to Motel Alaska

Motel Alaska, nestled in the heart of Cd Acuña, Coahuila, offers a distinctly authentic Mexican atmosphere that resonates deeply with both long-time patrons and first-time visitors. Boasting a solid 3.9 rating, this establishment strikes a rare balance between genuine local flavor and comfort. Its location on Calle V. Guerrero 1330 places guests mere steps from downtown, making it an excellent base for those eager to explore the vibrant city center, with easy access to bars, restaurants, and cultural sites.

What truly sets Motel Alaska apart is its renowned restaurant. The culinary offerings receive consistent praise for their bold, original taste. Signature dishes like milanesa and nachos deliver in both flavor and quality, earning loyal fans such as Adrian Castillo and Deonicia Miwa, who rave about the unmatched combination of fresh ingredients and traditional preparation. The classic Mexican fare, paired with attentive service, creates a dining experience that guests like Larry Lewis and Juan Cardona find irresistible, ensuring they plan to return time and again.

The motel itself embraces a straightforward, welcoming design. Rooms open directly to the outdoors, which Amanda Hernandez notes adds a charming touch reminiscent of classic motel layouts. This layout enhances accessibility and a feeling of openness, further supported by free parking and Wi-Fi—amenities that add practical convenience without compromising the intimate ambiance. Though not equipped with a pool or fitness center, the family-friendly environment and attentive service, highlighted by Hilda Martinez's decades-long loyalty, fill those gaps impressively.

More than just a place to sleep, Motel Alaska is a repository of memories. Santiago’s heartfelt reflection on growing up with the motel encapsulates its role as a cultural landmark within the community. It offers more than comfort: it offers connection. Whether visitors come for authentic meals, a nostalgic stay, or as a launchpad for local sightseeing and exploration, Motel Alaska promises a genuine experience imbued with warmth and tradition.

In essence, Motel Alaska is a resilient beacon of Mexican hospitality. Its blend of inviting accommodation, flavorful cuisine, and prime urban proximity makes it a compelling choice for travelers seeking both value and authenticity. For those wanting to immerse themselves in the local rhythm of Cd Acuña, Motel Alaska won’t just meet expectations—it will quietly exceed them.

It's either close to or in downtown. It has it's own parking lot and it's within walking distance to bars, and restaurants in downtown but it's slightly cheaper than other motels in the area.

Never go wrong with The Milanesa plate. Best chips and salsa and add a limonada con agua mineral. Best lunch!
